Dr. Needle has asked that you and I meet regarding your pre-diabetes and the importance of weight loss and lifestyle changes.A holistic nurse coach guides a person in the management of healthcare practice, self-care and improves a person’s outcome thru the model of coaching (Dossey & Keegan, 2016).
John: I know, but it is all overwhelming and I don’t know if I can do this.
Nurse: It sounds like you are feeling overwhelmed with this new diagnosis. Many of my clients feel this way initially.
